SWE Connecticut Tri-Section Tour of Mohegan Sun Casino

Mohegan Sun Casino Behind the Scenes Tour – Friday June, 12th at 6pm

This is a Tri-Section Event (New England Shoreline, Hartford and CT sections), so you will have the opportunity to meet and network with SWE members from other sections

The Technical Tour will consist of the following 3 areas of the casino grounds:

Back of House (behind the scenes)
Central Utility Plant
Fuel Cells

Registration is now OPEN!

It is important that you register for this event on Acteva by the morning of June 8. In order for anyone to be on the tour you will need a valid Mohegan Sun Badge. These badges will be pre-printed and waiting for your arrival.

The tour is scheduled to begin at 6PM. We need to make sure everyone is present and has a badge, so please plan to arrive before 6PM.

This event is FREE! But you must register by June 8th at 6AM.

• Wednesday, April 1st, SWE-CT Scholarship Dinner

We hope to see you at this fun annual event where we can honor our scholarship winners, network with other SWE members and hear from our keynote speaker.

• Friday, April 3rd, 4:00 PM at University of Bridgeport

SWE one hour workshop on job interview skills for the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) Conference at UB
We’ll be looking for volunteers to help the students by asking and critiquing job interview questions.

• Weekend of April 4th/5th is the Region F conference

Thank you for voting on our section bylaws!

The results are in – our new CT section bylaws have been approved.

We had 16 respondents and 13 “yes” votes.  We received 2 write-in comments and they were both positive.
